Once the end of the battery is free from the battery
cavity, lift the battery away from the phone.

Outer Base Cover Removal
All of the sections of the Base Disassembly preceding this section must be performed in sequential
order before the disassembly steps listed below can be performed.
Tools needed to perform the following steps:

Torque screwdriver
•
T6 Torx® bit
•
Pry Tool
NOTE!
Whenever the phrase “pry tool” is used, a nylon pointer, an orangewood stick, or a front
opening tool may be used, depending on the user’s preference.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1.
With the phone closed, remove the four screws
indicated from the base portion of the phone using a
torque driver with a T6 Torx® bit.
2.
Open the phone so that the keypad is accessible.
