• If more than four ports attached to the same target switch have LACP
enabled, the additional ports will be placed in standby mode, and will
only be enabled if one of the active links fails.
• STP, VLAN, and IGMP settings can only be made for the entire trunk
via the specified port-channel.
• A trunk formed with another switch using LACP will automatically be
assigned the next available port-channel id.

The following shows LACP enabled on ports 1 and 2. Because LACP has
also been enabled on the ports at the other end of the links, the
show
interfaces status port-channel 2
command shows that Trunk 2 has been
established
