Radio Settings A
(802.11a)
The IEEE 802.11a interface operates within the 5 GHz band, at
up to 54 Mbps in normal mode or up to 108 Mbps in Turbo mode.
Enable
– Enables radio communications on the wireless
interface. (Default: Enabled)
Description
– Adds a comment or description to the wireless
interface. (Range: 1-80 characters)
Network Name
(SSID) – (Access point mode only) The name of
the basic service set provided by the access point. Clients that
want to connect to the network through the access point must set
their SSID to the same as that of the access point. (Default: SMC;
Range: 1-32 characters)
Note:
The SSID is not configurable when the radio band is set to Bridge
