19 Implement Lift Service

GAS ENGINE MODELS
8. Remove hairpin (C, Figure 3) from upper link assem-
bly (D) and slide the link assembly out of the control
valve.
9. Remove hydraulic hoses (J) and fittings (K) from lift
valve assembly.
NOTE: Cap all lines and fittings to prevent contamination.
10. Remove the capscrews (B) that are securing the lift
valve assembly (A).
DIESEL ENGINE MODELS
11. Remove connecting link (C, Figure 4) from the lift
control valve (A) and valve pivot (J).
12. Remove hydraulic hoses (K) and fittings (L) from lift
valve assembly.
NOTE: Cap all lines and fittings to prevent contamination.
13. Remove the capscrews (M) and hex nuts (B) that are
securing the lift valve assembly (A).
ALL ENGINE MODELS
14. Remove the valve assembly.
15. Assemble in reverse order.
Lift Pedal Assembly Replacement
1. Park the tractor on a level surface.
2. Turn the ignition key switch to the OFF position,
remove the key, set the parking brake, and turn the
PTO switch off.
3. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable
(see Section 7, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SERVICE).
4. Disconnect spark plug wires or glow plug wires to
prevent the possibility of accidental starting while the
PTO is being adjusted.
5. Remove the steering tilt assembly (see Section 8,
POWER STEERING SERVICE).
6. Remove the dash (see Section 14, HOOD, DASH &
FOOT REST SERVICE).
7. Remove the tunnel (foot rest) (see Section 14,
HOOD, DASH & FOOT REST SERVICE).
8. Remove the klip ring (A, Figure 5) from the pivot shaft
(H) that is securing the lift cylinder (B).
9. Slide the pivot shaft (H) out from the frame and pedal
assembly (D).
10. Remove capscrews (G) and nuts (E) that are securing
the pedal assembly (D) to the frame.
11. Remove the bushing (C) from the pedal assembly (D)
and inspect for cracks or excessive wear. Replace if
necessary.
12. Assemble in reverse order.
