Seat Replacement
1. Turn the ignition key switch to the OFF position,
remove the key, set the parking brake, and turn the
PTO off.
2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable (see
Section 7, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SERVICE).
3. Tilt the seat (B, Figure 9) forward.
4. Disconnect the wire harness (D) from the seat
switch (C).
NOTE: The harness plug has a locking tab than must be
released before disconnecting the plug.
5. Remove the seat switch (C). Remove screws (A,
Figure 14).
6. Remove the four capscrews (E) from the seat pan (A)
and seat (B).
NOTE: The seat will not be supported and can fall for-
ward, so be sure to support the seat when removing the
last two capscrews.
7. Lift the seat off the seat pan and replace the seat in
the reverse order of disassembly.
8. Remove the four nuts (C) from the bolts that are
securing the seat pan (F) to the slide rails (A).
9. Lift the seat pan (F) off the slide rails (A).
10. Replace the seat pan (F, Figure 10), then the seat (B,
Figure 9) in reverse order of disassembly.

Seat Pan Replacement
1. Turn the ignition key switch to the OFF position,
remove the key, set the parking brake, and turn the
PTO off.
2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable (see
Section 7, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SERVICE).
3. Tilt the seat (B, Figure 9) forward.
4. Disconnect the seat switch plug on wire harness (D)
from the seat switch (C).
NOTE: The harness plug has a locking tab than must be
released before disconnecting the plug.
5. Remove the four capscrews (E) from the seat pan (A)
and seat (B).
NOTE: The seat will not be supported and can fall for-
ward, so be sure to support the seat when removing the
last two capscrews.
6. Lift the seat off the seat pan and set aside on a clean
surface or bench.
7. Disconnect the spring (D, Figure 10) from the slide
latch (G).
