PTO Clutch Installation
GAS ENGINE MODELS
1. Replace the anti-rotation rod (K, Figure 9 and 10)
using the original capscrew (J) and lockwasher (B).
2. Replace the spacer (I) onto the crankshaft.
3. Replace the key (F) on the crankshaft.
4. Carefully slide the PTO clutch (D) back onto the
crankshaft, paying close attention to aligning the key
(F) with the keyway on the inside of the PTO clutch (D).
NOTE: Direction of fan fins can be installed either way –
orient correctly.
5. Replace the fan (G) and spacer (H).

6. Replace the clutch stop bracket (H, Figure 11) to the
support bracket (L) using the original capscrews (J)
and nut (I).
7. Replace the stub shaft (K) using the original cap-
screws (J) and lockwashers (B).
8. Replace the key (F) on the stub shaft (K).
9. Carefully slide the PTO clutch (D) back onto the stub
shaft (K), paying close attention to aligning the key
(F) with the keyway on the inside of the PTO clutch (D).
The clutch stop bracket (H) must engage clutch slot.
