116 3G: Troubleshooting Tips (Handheld / Pocket PC)
Problem Causes and Suggestions
When properly installed, the PCS Connection Card is a highly reliable
product. Most problems are caused by one of these issues:

The wrong driver has been installed.
䊳
Network coverage is not available (either because you are outside the
coverage area, or because of an account or network problem).

Error: ActiveSync Does Not Prompt that There is Software
to Download
You have installed the PCS Connection Manager Software to the host and
connected the Handheld/Pocket PC to the host. ActiveSync launches but
does NOT prompt that there is software to download, so you are unable to
complete the installation process.
Error: When Tapping the Keypad, Nothing Happens

There was a failure in the host
installation process or ActiveSync has
failed to detect that there is software to
download.
Uninstall the software and start the installation
process again. For instructions, see
