Outlook Synchronization

Set the PCS Connection Manager Software to
automatically synchronize your phone book entries
with your Contacts entries in Microsoft
®
Outlook
®
.
For more information, see Table 5: Synchronization
of Outlook and Your Phone Book on page 69.
If you do not select this check box, then changes you
make to the phone book will not be reflected in Outlook.
To synchronize the two: once online, from the Phone
Book, click
File
>
Synchronize with Outlook
.
TTY Mode
A TTY (TeleTYpewriter) is a device for people with
hearing and speech impairments. The device allows
people to communicate over phone systems using a
typewriter-like keyboard.
When TTY Mode is set to any value besides
Off
, you
can attach a TTY device to the headset connector and
use a TTY device with the PCS Connection Card.
The options in this field are:

Off
– you don't use a TTY device for
communicating.
䊳
On (Full)
– you use the TTY device for
receiving and sending messages.
䊳
On (Talk Only)
– you use the TTY device to
read the other person's message. You speak to
convey your message.
䊳
On (Hear Only)
– you use the TTY device to
type your message. You listen to the other
person's message.
