5.10.10.1.19 Reading result timeout
The
parameter defines an interval in ms within which a reading re-
sult in the object dictionary is made available for upload by an SDO client. Once this interval
has elapsed, the reading result is discarded.
When transmitting the reading results with the service data object (SDO), the reading re-
sults are stored in the object dictionary and downloaded by the SDO client. A timeout must
be specified for the SDO client upload.
5.10.10.1.20 Automatic release after SDO upload
Automatic release after SDO upload
parameter is activated, the reading results are
automatically released by the SDO client after the upload.
When transmitting the reading results with the service data object (SDO), the reading re-
sults are stored in the object dictionary and downloaded by the SDO client. To enter the fol-
lowing reading result, a release must take place after the SDO upload. If the release takes
place automatically, the SDO client does not require an application for release purposes.
Data transmission is relatively insecure, as the process after automatic release does not
enable a repeated data request by the SDO client.
5.10.10.1.21 Enable command response output
Enable command response output
parameter is activated, the reading device re-
sponds to the SOPAS commands sent by the PLC.
SOPAS commands from the control are entered into object 0x2200/0. The reading device
responds via an entry in object 0x2020/4 and sends a process data object (PDO) with iden-
tifier 0x180 and the CAN node number to the PLC. The PLC loads the command response
entered in the object dictionary via the SDO domain.
SOPAS commands constitute a command language that can be used to control the func-
tions of the reading device and the object trigger control. A detailed list of the command lan-
guage can be obtained from SICK on request.
5.10.10.1.22 Command response timeout
The
parameter defines an interval in ms within which a re-
sponse to a SOPAS command is made available in the object dictionary for upload by an
SDO client. Once this interval has elapsed, the command response is discarded.
When transmitting the responses to SOPAS commands, the device response is stored in the
object dictionary and downloaded by the SDO client. A timeout must be specified for the
SDO client upload.
