Mounting the LMS Length

Mount the
LMS Length
so that the laser beam is emitted
in the direction of travel
and
so that the front of the passing vehicle is always detected.
It should usually be mounted in the middle of the gantry above the lane with the
connections pointing toward the right-hand edge of the lane (when viewed in the direction
of travel). The LMS Length variant that is intended for mounting slightly further along the
road can be attached to a structure such as a cantilever arm.

Mounting the LMS Axle

Mount the LMS Axle at the edge of the lane so that the laser beam is emitted
perpendicular to the lane. The connections should usually point in the direction of
travel.
