When mounting the device, make sure that the LMS Axle is aligned correctly on all three
axes.
You can tell whether the rotation of the 2D LiDAR sensor is correct by considering the top,
side, and front views.

Rotation about the Y-axis
: The signal must be output at an angle of 90° in relation to
the
direction of travel
. The system tolerates a rotational error of ± 2° about the Y-axis.

Rotation about the X-axis
: The signal must be output at an angle of 90° in relation to
the
road surface
. The system tolerates a rotational error of ± 2° about the X-axis.

Rotation about the Z-axis
: The device’s rear panel must be perpendicular to the road
surface. The system tolerates a rotational error of ± 2° about the Z-axis.
