5 Setting the Functions

5-1 Select and Switch of Weighing Units

You can set two units (unit A and unit b) and switch between the units.

Unit b can only be used in simple weight measurement mode. Unit A can be used in all

measurement modes.

Go to the function setting mode.

(Refer to Section 2-6 “Basics of Function
Settings.”)

Press and hold the [Function] key until “Func” is

displayed.

Set unit A.

Press the [Function] key several times to select “b1.u.A.”

Press the [Zero/Tare] key to select a unit from the

following numbers:

1:mg/2:g/4:ct (carat)/d:mom (momme)
When only setting unit A, press the [Set] key in
this step to save the setting.

Set unit b.

Press the [Function] key several times to select “b3.ub”

Press the [Zero/Tare] key to select a unit from the

following numbers:

0: Unit b is not used/1:mg/2:g/4:ct (carat)/d:mom

(momme)

Unit b can only be used in simple weight
measurement mode.

Save the setting.

Press the [Set] key.

The balance returns to the weight display.

Switch between unit A and unit b.

Press the [Function] key during measurement.

This switches between unit A
