Tuned Feedback
Tuned feedback is a method of processing audio using a delay line with tun-
able feedback. By varying the amount and tuning parameters you can use
it to create a variety of effects, some subtle, and some industrial-grade nasty,
especially if you turn on grunge.

Using Tuned Feedback to Perform “Karplus-Srong” Synthesis
You can also use Tuned Feedback as a tone generator. In classic Karplus-
Strong synthesis, a short excitation waveform (white noise) is generated
and fed back into a delay line. The output of the delay line is fed into the
filter. The filter characteristics determine the harmonic structure of the
decaying tone.
To use Tuned Feedback for Karplus-Strong synthesis:
1. In the Mixer, set all oscillator levels to zero.
2. Set the destination of Aux Envelope 1 to noise.
3. Set the amount of Aux Envelope 1 to 127.
4. Set the aux envelope 1 ADSR values to the following: attack: 0,
decay: 45, sustain: 0, release: 16.
5. Set the Feedback amount parameter to 66.
