66 Sequencer Sequential
Muting a Sequence Track
Sometimes it’s useful to mute a track to ignore the sequence data
recorded on it.
To mute a Sequencer track:
1. Press the
sequence
button to select the sequence you want ( A, B,C, or D).
2. Press and hold the
track sel
button and press the step LED with the
same number as the track you want to mute (step 1 = track 1, etc.).
3. Press Soft Button 4 (
mute
) to set it to
on
. The track is muted.
4. To toggle off muting, repeat steps 2 and 3.
Creating An Extended Sequence
If want to create a sequence that’s longer than 16 notes/steps, you can do
so by putting the Sequencer in
extended
mode. This chains the individual
phrases/sequences A, B, C, D together. Since each of the four individual
phrases/sequences has a maximum of 16 steps, you can create a sequence
of up to 64 steps in total.
