24 . Aftertouch Enable:
On, Off—
Selects whether aftertouch (key pres-
sure) is enabled or disabled. If disabled, the Pro 3 will neither respond to
nor transmit aftertouch/key pressure data.
25 . Aftertouch Curve:
Curve 1, Curve 2, Curve 3, Curve 4—
Sets one of
four pressure curves for the keyboard to adjust the aftertouch to your playing
style.
26 . Velocity Curve:
Curve 1... Curve 8—
Sets one of the eight velocity
curves for the keyboard to adjust the velocity response to your playing style.
27 . Scale (Alt Tuning):
Equal Temperment, 1…17—
Selects one of the Pro
3’s built-in tunings. Set to
1.
equal
temperment
, the tuning is standard, chro-
matic tuning. Choosing 2 through 65 selects an alternative, non-chromatic,
non-Western scale that can be used to emulate ethnic instruments or in other
creative ways. See “Appendix C: Alternative Tunings” on page 82 for a
description of each tuning. Additional tunings can be imported as a SysEx
message. Note that alternative tunings can be enabled globally here, or on
a per-sound basis by using the
scale
parameter in the
key
modes
tab of the
misc
params
menu.
28 . CV 1 In Offset:
-127…+128—
Allows adjustment of the DC offset of
control voltage input 1.
The Pro 3 is flexible when it comes to Control Voltages, and it can be
configured to accurately interact with virtually all Eurorack modules.
The Pro 3’s CV inputs and outputs have a range of 0 to 10v. Since the
range is 0-10v, Middle C is sent from the CV output at 5v. This allows
the CV out to track over a 10 octave range, from 0 to 10v. There is no
standard input voltage range for Eurorack modules. Some modules and
external synthesizers have a 10v input range, while others have a 5v
input range. For example, if you want a 0-5v range, set offset to 64.
Using the
cv o
ffset
parameter, you can configure the Pro 3 as necessary
to work correctly with your specific module. You can also assign the
keyboard and Sequencer of the Pro 3 to transmit CV data at 1v/octave by
assigning
note
number
to modulate
cv
s
1-4
out
with an Amount of 127
in the Mod Matrix.
29 . CV 2 In Offset:
-127…+128—
Allows adjustment of the DC offset of
control voltage input 2.
