Pro 3 User’s Guide
Miscellaneous Parameters
Glide Tab
As explained previously, Glide causes the pitch of a note to glide up or
down from the pitch of the previously played note. Glide is turned on
and off using the
glide
switch, but the
rate
must also be set. If the
glide
button is on, but
rate
is set to 0, glide has no effect.
Glide can be set individually for each oscillator.
Glide Mode:
FixRate, FixRate A, FixTime, FixTime A—
(In the
key
modes
tab)
These modes determine how
g
lide
behaves:
FixRate:
The time to transition between notes varies with the inter-
val between the notes; the greater the interval, the longer the transi-
tion time. The glide rate is fixed.
FixRate A:
The same as FixRate, but glide is only applied when
playing legato. That is, glide only occurs when a note is held until
the next note is played. This effectively allows glide to be turned on
and off from the keyboard.
FixTime:
Glide is set to a fixed time, regardless of the interval
between notes.
FixTime A:
The same as FixTime, but glide only occurs when playing
legato.
Pitch Wheel Tab
You can set a range in semitones for the Pitch wheel, depending on your
playing preference. The range is 12 semitones up (1 octave) and 24 semi-
tones down (2 octaves).
Range Up:
Off, 1...12 Semitones—
(In the p
itch
wheel
tab)
Selects the
range in semitones when bending the Pitch Wheel upward. Twelve semi-
tones equals 1 octave.
Range Down:
Off, 1...24 Semitones—
(In the p
itch
wheel
tab)
Selects
the range in semitones when bending the Pitch Wheel downward.
Twenty-four semitones equals 2 octaves.
