8.7.2 Stand-alone GPS Receiver and Antenna [12120004]

Tools:

None

Part Location:

The GPS receiver and antenna are attached in the radome bottom (see Figure 8-24, above).

Procedure:

Turn off power to the antenna.

Detach the power/signal connector from the old GPS receiver/antenna.

Unscrew the old GPS receiver/antenna from the pipe.

Screw on the new GPS receiver/antenna.

Attach the power/signal connector to the new GPS receiver/antenna.

Turn on power to the antenna.

Diagnostics after Completing Repair:

Run

sunclock

to check time.

It may take up to 15 minutes to receive the GPS satellite ephemeris before the location and time
corrections are shown.

Run

whereami

to check location.
