Helm Main Circuit Breaker
Power is distributed to most of the 12-volt accessories acti-
vated by the helm switch panel through the Main “push to
reset” circuit breaker located in the helm switch panel on the
Sportfish and Dorado or in the selector switch panel on the
Abaco.
Stereo Memory Fuse or Circuit Breaker (Optional)
The memory circuits for the optional stereo and some elec-
tronics are connected directly to the batteries and protected
by an in-line fuse located near the battery or battery switch
on the Sportfish and Dorado and a circuit breaker in the se-
lector switch panel on the Abaco. The memory circuit is al-
ways activated, even when the battery switches are off.
Stereo Circuit Breaker (Optional)
Activates the optional stereo. Located on the selector switch
panel on the Abaco.
CO Detector Circuit Breaker
The CO detector on the Abaco is protected by a circuit breaker
in the selector switch panel near the helm. The CO detector
is always activated whenever the battery switch is on.
Helm Main
Located on the selector switch panel on the Abaco protects
the helm switch panel circuit from an overload.
Trim Tabs
Located on the selector switch panel on the Abaco. Protects
the trim tab circuit from an overload.
12-Volt Receptacle Circuit Breaker
Located on the selector switch panel on the Abaco and near
the receptacle on the Dorado and Sportfish. Protects the cir-
cuit for the 12-volt receptacle from an overload.

AC System
AC Battery Charger (Optional)
The battery charging system is fed 120-volt AC current by a
power cable connected to a shore side outlet and the shore
power inlet located in the cockpit. It is wired totally separate
from the 12-volt DC system and charges all batteries simulta-
neously when connected.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK IN
WET WEATHER, AVOID MAKING CONTACT WITH THE
SHORE CABLE OR MAKING A CONNECTION TO A
LIVE SHORE OUTLET. NEVER SPRAY WATER ON
ELECTRICAL CABLES WHILE WASHING DOWN
DECKS.
TO REDUCE THE POSSIBILITY OF AN
ELECTRICAL SHOCK, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE
AC GROUND SYSTEM IS FUNCTIONING
PROPERLY AND THAT A PROPER CONNECTION
EXISTS BETWEEN THE SHORE POWER CORD AND
THE SHORE POWER INLET AND THE OUTLET
GROUND CIRCUITS. IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT
ABOUT THE INTEGRITY OF THE GROUND
CIRCUIT, A QUALIFIED MARINE ELECTRICIAN
SHOULD BE CONTACTED IMMEDIATELY AND THE
AC SHOULD BE DISCONNECTED UNTIL THE
NECESSARY REPAIRS ARE COMPLETED.
Recommended Procedure For Making a Shore Connection
If the dockside outlet includes a disconnect switch, turn it to
the “OFF” position. To avoid strain on the cable make sure it
has more slack than the mooring lines. Dress the cable so
that it cannot be damaged by chafing between the boat and
the dock. Make sure the cable does not come in contact with
the water. Then connect the cable in the plug inlet making
sure the connection plug includes a three-prong plug with a
ground wire. Turn the dock side disconnect switch or circuit
breaker to the “ON” position and check that the battery charger
is operating properly. If the battery charger is not working,
turn off the shore disconnect switch and remove the cable.
Contact your dealer or a qualified electrician to find and cor-
rect the problem.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CORRECT THE WIRING
YOURSELF. ELECTRIC SHOCK CAN CAUSE
SEVERE INJURY OR EVEN DEATH. ALWAYS HAVE
A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN CHECK WIRING.
KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM ANY ELECTRICAL
CABLES OR EQUIPMENT.
UNDETECTED FAULTS IN THE AC BATTERY
CHARGING SYSTEM COULD CAUSE THE WATER
AROUND THE BOAT TO BECOME ENERGIZED. THIS
COULD CAUSE A SEVERE SHOCK OR EVEN DEATH
TO SOMEONE IN THE WATER NEAR THE BOAT.
NEVER SWIM OR ALLOW SWIMMING AROUND THE
BOAT WHEN THE BATTERY CHARGING SYSTEM IS
ACTIVATED BY THE SHORE POWER CONNECTION.
Disconnecting procedure for shore power connection
Turn the disconnect switch on the dockside outlet to the “OFF”
position.
Disconnect the cable from the dockside outlet and replace the
outlet caps. Disconnect the cable from the boat and replace
the inlet cap. Store cable.
