and ground buss are provided make it easier to add 12-volt
accessories and electronics.
A small compartment starboard of the engine controls pro-
vides convenient storage for small items. The console is also
equipped with a Plexiglas windshield and there are grab rails
recessed into the deck that run from each side of the console
to the bow that provide a hand hold as you move about the
cockpit.
The washdown hose is located on the port side of the console
and there is a recessed 12-volt courtesy light on each side.
The lights are activated by a switch in the helm switch panel.
Hatches in the rear of the head compartment provide access
to service the helm equipment or install electronics.
Head Compartment
The head compartment is located in the console. A door with
a lockable latch in the port side of the console provides ac-
cess to the head. The door and hatch are made of acrylic
plastic glass. Acrylic glass scratches easily and can chip.
Please refer to the Routine Maintenance chapter for informa-
tion on the proper care and maintenance of acrylic plastic
glass.
An access hatch in the rear bulkhead near the headliner pro-
vides access to service electronics and helm equipment. Other
hatches provide access to the center bilge, the intake and dis-
charge valves for the head, batteries, optional battery charger
and the pressure water pump and strainer. An optional Y-
valve and manual head or a portable marine head may also be
installed in the head compartment.

on the head compartment.
Aluminum Leaning Post (Optional)
The leaning post is equipped with storage below the seat cush-
ion that drains to the cockpit sole, cup holders, four rod hold-
ers and a grab bar. The base accommodates a large cooler
that is secured with a velcro strap and a fold out foot rest.
The grab rails on each side and the rear provide a handhold
for passengers. A removable backrest that mounts in the rod
holders and a recirculating livewell are available options for
the leaning post.
Console Cooler/Seat
There is a removable cooler with a seat cushion just forward
of the console. It is secured to the cockpit sole by special
brackets and stretch cords. There is also a bolster on the con-
sole, just above the cooler, that provides a backrest for the
cooler seat. The cooler drains to the cockpit and should be
cleaned thoroughly after each use.
