Used to move highlight on the screen for
selecting an option.

the display panel of this machine. See

White Sheet
Holds the original down on the exposure
glass.
2.
Exposure glass for the ADF
Scans originals when they are loaded in
the ADF.

Exposure glass
Place the original here when you do not
use the ADF for scanning.

Power connector
For connection of the bundled AC power
cord.
5.
Network interface connector
For connection of an Ethernet network
cable.

SD card slot
Used for an authorized customer engi-
neer’s maintenance purpose only.

PC card slot
This machine has one Type II PC Card
slot: By inserting the bundled USB inter-
face card connecting with the bundled
USB-keyboard and a local USB printer for
Print Scan.

USB port
Used to directly USB connect this ma-
chine with a PC.
9.
Status display of lock switch
Displays the status of the lock switch.
10.
Lock switch
Set this switch to the “Lock” position
when you transport this machine.
