Navigation Tips
Navigating the screens within the Sam4POS application is very intuitive. Screens are setup with easily
identifiable icons to quickly access and select the various program areas and options. Many of the icons
used are common throughout the operation and programming screens.
Common Icons
Icon
Description
Back Arrow is used to exit the current Mode selection.
More Functions Menu Icon – Tap to display Memory Usage percentage, Memo Pad,
Team Viewer, and Favorites selections.
** Refer to the expanded operator screen header bar shown below.
Tap the Memory Usage percentage icon to display the Memory Usage Data. The
Storage Threshold percentage can be set in Option\System Option.
Selecting the Memo icon opens the Meno Notepad.

Receipt On/Off
Favorites icon, white is not added to favorites, gold indicates selection is added to
favorites.

Connection method
The Return icon is used to go back to the previous screen/selection.
Mode Sub Menu icons, used to display/hide the sub menu for the current mode.
Add Record
Menu icon
GOTO allows you to go to the programming options for that program area, group,
recipe or MLU etcetera, from within the current program area.
Drop down button opens a list of selections for the current program option.
The pencil icon allows you to open a window to enter a value for the current program
selection.
Option check box with option not selected.
Option checkbox with option selected.
Note pad; Edit current list.
The Trash can icon is used to delete records.
Inactivate icon is used to make function inactive without deleting them.
