Operator Screen Layout
Touch the Register Mode icon on the Main Menu screen to open the Sam4POS Register Mode Operator
Screen. The operator screen is divided into different zones to facilitate regular sales transactions.
Touch the Back Arrow icon
to close the Register Mode operators screen and return to the main menu
screen.

Header – Top Row displays: Back Arrow, Mode, Menu
(for more functions)
, Table Display, Receipt
On/Off, License Info and Connection method, and Date/Time.
Header – Bottom Row displays: System Identification, PLU Key Info, Price Level, KP Period,
Destination and Employee name.

Transaction Detail -- Touch
to hide the 10-Key pad and expand the receipt area.

to open the 10-Key pad.

MLU – Menu Look Up keys are used to access various screens for registering categories of items or
performing specific operations and functions. When more MLUs than can be displayed are
available, scroll keys are provided to see the additional MLUs.
MLU Navigation - When the option is selected in System Options, the MLU navigation buttons
are available in the Register Mode, this makes it easier to navigate long lists of MLU’s.

Item Area – Displays the items or functions assigned to the selected MLU.

FLU – Function Look Up. When more FLUs are available than can be displayed, scroll keys are
