USE CLERK INTERRUPT
If allowed, a new clerk can be signed on in the middle of a transaction. In this circumstance, the initial
transaction is suspended. When the interrupt transaction is completed, the suspended transaction can
be continued when the original clerk signs back on.
DO NOT USE:
disables the clerk interrupt feature.
CLERK INTERUPT:
allows a new clerk to sign on in the middle of a transaction
(interrupt
the current order)
. In this circumstance, the initial transaction is suspended. When the
interrupt transaction is completed, the suspended transaction can be continued when the
original clerk signs back on at the same terminal.
FLOATING CLERK:
if selected, the clerk interrupt feature is enabled and the employee is
allowed to open the interrupted order at any terminal in the system.
ALLOW CLERK CHANGE WITHOUT SIGN-OFF
If selected, new clerk sign-on is allowed without previously signing off the current employee; must be
set to YES if clerk interrupt is allowed.
EMPLOYEE SIGN ON
Choose POP UP to automatically sign off at the completion of a transaction. Choose STAY DOWN to
register sales continuously for the same employee.

ENABLE SAME ITEM CONSOLIDATION
Choose “None”, “One Item Delayed Consolidation” or “Immediate Consolidation”.
AUTOMATIC SEAT# ASSIGNMENT (0: NONE)
If selected each item that does not receive a seat # prior to registration, will be assigned the default seat
number as set here. Using a seat number system assists prep staff in assembling orders correctly and
facilitates payment of separate parts of a check.
ALLOW PLUS PRESET/HALO OVERRIDE
Override of a preset price or override of a HALO (entry of a price greater than the PLUs high amount
limit) can be allowed. See options in PLU programming and Authority Level as well.
ALLOW SALE FOR ZERO OR NEGATIVE STOCK ITEM
If selected, sale of items with zero stock or negative stock (
≤ 0
) is allowed.
ALLOW SALES UNDER MINIMUM STOCK
When STOCK ITEM status is assigned to a PLU (see PLU Status Group Programming), a warning
“BELOW MINIMUM STOCK” will display if/when the PLU is registered and stock is below the
minimum level.
MANAGER CONTROL (NEGATIVE SALES)
Requires manager authority; Settings here do not affect transactions performed in the
VOID
mode.
MANAGER CONTROL (NEGATIVE TENDER)
Requires manager authority; Settings here do not affect transactions performed in the
VOID
mode.
MANAGER CONTROL (ZERO SALES)
Requires manager authority; Settings here do not affect transactions performed in the
VOID
mode.
ALLOW NOT FOUND PLU
If selected, when a PLU number is entered (or scanned) that is not in the PLU file, the operator can
enter the item price and complete the transaction.
ACTIVATE CANADIAN ROUNDING ON TEND / SUBTOTAL
Check this option to round cash transactions to the nearest .05¢.
MLU CHAIN MULTIPLICATION
Allows multiplication registration for menu lookup chain entries.
