Sleep Mode
SAP-6600 Terminals
If the Developer Options are disabled in the Settings, Sam4POS will enter into a sleep mode.
If the Developer Options are turned on in the Settings, the Sam4POS may enter into sleep mode if the
‘Satay Awake’ setting is turned off.
To wake the terminal from sleep mode, push the power button one time, then push the power button
again after about 3~4 seconds.
To keep the terminal from entering into ‘Sleep Mode’, be sure these two settings are turned on.
1.
Touch the
SYSTEM
icon on the main
PROGRAM MODE
screen to display all the program
categories.
2.
From the
SYSTEM
menu touch
SETTINGS
.
3.
Enter the
MANAGER PASSWORD
at the prompt if required.
4.
On the Settings menu, scroll down the category list on the left-side menu to the
SYSTEM
category.
5.
Select
Developer Options
from the selections.
6.
If developer options are Off, press to turn
On
. Confirm you want to turn on at the prompt.
7.
If the
Stay Awake
selection in the developer options is Off, press to turn
On
SAP-4800 II & SAP-530 Terminals
The Sleep setting on the SAP-4800II terminals in in the Settings, Device\Display options menu.
1.
Touch the
SYSTEM
icon on the main
PROGRAM MODE
screen to display all the program
categories.
2.
From the
SYSTEM
menu touch
SETTINGS
.
3.
Enter the
MANAGER PASSWORD
at the prompt if required.
4.
On the Settings menu, scroll down the category list on the left-side menu to the
Device\Display Settings
from the selections.
5.
Select
SLEEP
from the display settings and set to
NEVER
.
