Sweet Deal
The Sweet Deal promotion is built by first programming a promotion group. The promotion group
will have all the items that are eligible for the sweet deal. Then assign the promotion group to the
sweet deal promotion and set the parameters for the sweet deal promotion; see page 178 for details
about Promotion Group Programming.
a.
Select the Sweet Deal Discount promotion type.
b.
Press the add a new promotion icon or select an existing promotion to edit.
c.
Type in a descriptor for the promotion in the INPUT DESCRIPTION field on the dialog
screen that appears.
d.
Select the Promotion Group(s) that will be used with this Sweet Deal promotion by pressing
the
Select Promotion Group
drop-down list; press
OK
.
e.
The Sweet Deal promotion is created. Press
NEW
to add the discounts to the new promotion.
f.
Select the
COUNT
and the
AMOUNT
; the amount represents the discount amount. Press
OK
when finished or press OK and Continue to add more discounts
.
Pressing CANCEL will
exit without adding any discounts.
g.
The new
Sweet Deal
Promotion is created. You can edit the Count/Amount fields as
necessary.
