USER TASK MODE
In User Task mode, the validation test is named by the user and saved
in a memory location under the
USER TASKS
menu. There are ten
memory locations for User Tasks.
To define a new task, refer to Figure 6-18 and proceed as follows:

1. Press the
INPUT
key. Select the desired input for the task, as
described in Setting Input Parameters on page 6-3.
2. Select any Process functions, if necessary, as described in Setting
Process Functions in the Input Menu on page 6-3.
3. Press the
OUTPUT
key. Select the desired output for the task, as
described in Setting Outputs on page 6-7.
4. Press the
TASK
key. Use

to highlight
USER TASKS
. Press
ENTER

5. In the
USER
TASKS
menu, use

to highlight a free space.
6. Press
F1
to name the task, then proceed as follows:
a. Use

to enter digits.

to move to next or previous digit.
c. Press
ENTER
when the correct task name is displayed.
7. Press
F1
to save the new task or
F2
to clear the task.
NOTE
F2
can be used to clear any highlighted task.
