Validator Setup
OVERVIEW
This section describes setting the internal parameters and the
validation testing parameters of the Rosemount Model P330 Pressure
Validator. Internal parameters are:
• Display appearance (backlight and contrast)
• Memory mode
• Settings for pressure units, language, RS232 parameters,
powerdown mode, and calibration options
Validation parameters are:
• Setting pressure units
• Zeroing the display
• Turning the 24 V power supply on and off

• Avoid contact with the leads and the terminals.
Validator housing could explode causing death or serious injury.
• This Validator is not to be connected to a process.
• External pressure source’s pressures should not exceed the Validator’s Burst
Pressure.
Exposure to pressure leaks can cause death or serious injury.
• Ensure that all pipes and fittings are correctly rated for the operating pressure
and temperature.
• Remove pressure and vent the transmitter, validator, and all lines before
disconnecting any pressure lines.
• Remove pressure and open the vent valve before switching the pressure/vacuum
output, if the validator is equipped with one.
