Hardware Functions
1. Press the
ZERO
key.
The soft box displays the change to
ZERO INPUT
and
ZERO OUTPUT
or
ZERO INTERNAL SENSOR?
depending on the task mode.
2. To zero the input, press F1 .
3. Press

again to zero the display, or press
F2
to return to the
task screen without zeroing the display.
4. Press the

Turning the 24 V Power
Source On or Off If the validation test is validator powered, the 24 V power must be
turned on. If the validation test is externally powered, the 24 V power
should be turned off.
To set the 24 V power in Basic task mode, refer to Figure 4-11 and
proceed as follows:
Setting the 24 V power in Basic task mode
1. If in Basic Task mode, press the
TASK
key.
2. Use Ä to highlight any mode other than Basic. Press
ENTER

3. Press the
OUTPUT
key.
4. Use

to highlight
24 VOLT
.
5. Use and § to change the setting to
ON
or
OFF
.
6. Press
ENTER
to return to task mode screen.
