Quick Start Guide 1321.3066.02 ─ 05
●
There is a link on the Windows Desktop and in the "Start" menu to access the
R&S user data. The link points to the standard directory of hardcopies and
save/recall files, so if the files are to be copied on a memory stick they can be
found easily.
●
The FSP cold boot feature with the decimal point no longer exists. Instead, the
shutdown and calibration files can be deleted via the link "Delete Shutdown
Files" in the "Start > All Programs" menu, if necessary.
●
The optional external mixer functionality has been improved to provide more
flexibility and conveniency, in particular:
– Mixer settings for each band are saved and maintained even after preset-
ting the instrument; they can be preset explicitly using the "Preset Band"
function
– If a second range (harmonic) is available, it can be activated and defined
freely, also for standard bands
– When using two ranges for a band, the handover frequency can be defined
freely within the overlapping frequency range, also for standard bands
– Additional traces are available for use when using the signal identification
functions Signal ID and Auto ID
– All available conversion loss tables are offered for selection; validity tests
are performed after selection

els
Users of R&S
FSV 1307.9002Kxx models should consider the following differen-
ces to the description of the newer R&S
FSVA/FSV 1321.3008Kxx models:
●
Functions that are based on the Windows7 operating system (e.g. printing or
setting up networks) may have a slightly different appearance or require differ-
ent settings on the Windows XP based models. For such functions, refer to
the Windows documentation or the documentation originally provided with the
R&S
FSV instrument.
●
The R&S
FSV 1307.9002K03 model is restricted to a maximum frequency of
3
GHz, whereas the R&S
FSVA/FSV1321.3008K04 model has a maximum
frequency of 4
GHz.
