For most tasks, there are at least 2 alternative methods to perform them:

●

Using the touchscreen

●

Using other elements provided by the front panel, e.g. the keypad, rotary
knob, or arrow and position keys

5.2.1

Toolbar

Standard functions can be performed via the icons in the toolbar at the top of the
screen, if available (see 

Chapter 5, "Basic Operations"

, 

on page 78). By default,

this toolbar is not displayed.

Displaying the toolbar

► Press the "Toolbar" icon to the right of the tabs in the display to toggle the

toolbar on or off.

Alternatively:

1. Press the SETUP key.

2. Press the "Display Setup" softkey.

3. Press the "Tool Bar State On/Off" softkey.

Or:

4. Press the DISPLAY key.

5. In the "Display Settings" dialog box, select "Tool Bar State: On".

The toolbar is displayed at the top of the screen.
