2 NB-IoT Signaling
The NB-IoT signaling firmware application is available as option R&S CMW-KS300. It
emulates an NB-IoT cell and communicates with the UE under test. The UE can syn-
chronize to the downlink signal and attach to the PS domain. A connection can be set
up.
The application requires an SUA as signaling unit. The SUW is not supported.
Tests can be performed using the NB-IoT multi-evaluation measurement (option
R&S CMW-KM300).
Data transfer tests can be performed using the data application unit (DAU, option
R&S CMW-B450x and R&S CMW-KM050).
The NB-IoT signaling application provides also RX measurements, see Chapter 2.3.16,
"BLER Measurement" , on page 90.
2.1 What's New in This Version
This documentation describes version 3.7.60 and later of the NB-IoT signaling applica-
tion. Compared to version 3.7.50, it provides the following new features and changes:
