ventilator. Appendix B provides more information for
parts and accessories.

Patient circuit,
single-limb
Intended for noninvasive ventilation. To minimize
turbulence, we recommend using smooth-inner
wall tubing. Use a circuit listed in Appendix B or
equivalent.
NOTE:
During single-limb ventilation, use of a
filtered exhalation port is recommended when
airborne cross-contamination is a concern.
Patient circuit,
dual-limb
Intended for invasive ventilation. To minimize
turbulence, we recommend that you use smooth-
inner wall tubing. Use a circuit listed in Appendix B
or equivalent.
