6. Start Ventilation
PPS provides pressure targeted ventilation in
proportion to the patient’s efforts.
The two types of pressure support, volume-
proportional pressure support (volume assist) and flow-
proportional pressure support (flow assist) can be used
in combination.
The mode is only available for single-limb non-invasive
ventilation.
