If it is not as desired, use the INC and DEC keys to toggle the
mode between RTU and ASCII. RTU is the default and
recommended setting for most applications.
1d) Press [ENTER]
The Modbus Slave Address is entered. Next select the Modbus
parity. If it is not as desired, use the INC and DEC keys to toggle
the parity mode between None, Even, Odd, Mark or Space.
EVEN is the default and recommended setting.
1e) Press [ENTER]
The Modbus Parity is stored into memory. The display now
prompts to select the number of Stop Bits to be used. If it is not
as desired, use the INC and DEC keys to toggle between 1 and
2. The default setting is 1.
1f) Press [ENTER]
Stop Bits is saved and next the display asks to input the serial
speed. The default serial speed setting is set at 9600 bps. Use
the INC and DEC keys to select among the available speeds
(300, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, or 19200). The default setting is
9600 bps.
2a) Press [ENTER]
The Serial Speed selection is saved.
Thermocouples are used for temperature measurement in the
bulk oil storage reservoir, and for heater control and alarms in
the Air/Oil Heater and the Air Pre-Heater. The following series of
screens allow the use of either type J or type K thermocouples.
All IVT Oil mist Generators are shipped with Type K
thermocouples as standard and recommended (default is K).
Once the [ENTER] key has been pressed after concluding step
1f (above) the display prompts to select each T/C type. These
settings should not be changed. If an improper T/C selection is
made, temperature readings will not accurate.
The Bulk Oil T/C is displayed. The default setting is K.
2b) Press [ENTER]
The Air Temperature T/C is displayed. (Air/Oil Heater control
and alarm). The default setting is K.
