Regulated Air Pressure Transducer 

The incoming air supply to the mist generator is controlled using a manually operated air pressure 
regulator. The air pressure regulator adjusts and controls the airflow through the mist head by 
controlling the inlet air pressure. Once the oil mist system has been commissioned, only minor 
adjustments to the regulated air pressure is needed to maintain proper system operation. The 
regulated air pressure transducer is located on the main oil mist-generating head. It is a two-wire 
4-20 mA output pressure transducer. It is connected to the IVT controller with an integral flexible 
cord. The transducer provides the signal for high regulated air pressure alarm and low regulated 
air pressure alarm. During operation the signal is used to provide an operating regulated air 
pressure value.
