The appropriate decoder for this method is selected by setting Convolutional Symbol to Disabled, as shown in
Figure 116. In older releases without the Convolutional Symbol control, this was the only method supported.

The second method is for I and Q data to be created from the G1 and G2 generators, respectively, of a single
convolutional encoder. In this method, only one convolutional encoder is used for both the I and Q data.
