Press Enter to search the USB drive for the update file.

If a proper update file is found, the name of the file displays on the front panel along with additional
instructions, as shown in Figure 179.

Press Enter to start the update. The RDMS copies the update file from the USB drive and begins the update.
•
Do not power off the RDMS during the update.
•
During the update, a status displays, as shown in Figure 180.
•
The RDMS will reboot twice during the update.
•
After the first reboot, the front panel displays are automatically updated first. This update may cause
the screens to be blank for several minutes while they are being updated.
