Replacing the power supply

5. Disconnect the following cables that connect to the
outside of the controller box. See
.
–Load Cell Summing Cable
–Depending on your connection choice, you may only
need to remove one (or none) of the following cables:
Ethernet, USB, or serial.
6. Disconnect the three ribbon cables that are attached
to the motherboard. See
7. Disconnect the proximity sensor cable (part number
13320), the encoder cable (part number 13319), and
the gate power cable (part number 13314) where
they connect to the motherboard. See
8. Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws
(four total) located on each corner of the
motherboard.
9. Carefully remove the motherboard and set it aside.
10. Disconnect all three of the cables attached to the
power supply. You may need to use pliers to remove
the ground cable connection. See
11. Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove the screw
holding the power supply cage lid in place. See
.
12. Remove the cage lid and set it aside.
13. Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove the four
screws holding the power supply board down. The
screws are located in each corner of the power
supply board.
14. Remove the power supply and discard it.
15. Locate the replacement power supply and screw it
into place.
16. Reconnect the power supply cables.
17. Replace the cage lid and screw it into place.
18. Replace the motherboard and screw it into place.
19. Reconnect the motherboard cables.
