4. Unplug all cables that connect to the controller.
for cable locations. Depending on
your connection choice, you may only need to
remove one (or none) of the following cables;
Ethernet, USB, or serial.
•To remove the Ethernet cable, press the tab and
pull it straight out.
•To remove the USB or display cable, simply pull it
straight out using even pressure.
•To remove the serial or load cell cable, loosen the
screws and pull the cable straight out.
•To remove the gate DB9 and gate DB25 ribbon
cables, use the Phillips screwdriver to loosen the
screws, and pull the cables straight out.
•To remove the gate power, proximity sensor, and
encoder cables; unscrew the cables and pull them
straight out.
5. Disconnect the ground cable by using a 5/16''
wrench to remove the nut.
6. Slide the controller box to the right (if you are facing
the front of the Cubiscan 325) and up to remove it
from the Cubiscan 325.
7. Locate the replacement controller box and place it
in the Cubiscan 325 base assembly, being sure to
slide the thumb screws into the slots. The controller
box connector side should be facing left, if you are
facing the front of the Cubiscan 325.
8. Reconnect all the necessary cables to the controller
box. For more information refer to
4.
9. Slide the center cover back into place and tighten
the thumb screws.
10. Reconnect the power cord and power the Cubiscan
325 on.
