Application Interfaces

Perform action when ACD queue full

In combination with the integrated application 

Forum ACD

 the remote 

Remote switching

 function allows for an action if the ACD queue reaches a 

critical size. One application example would be to install a warning lamp in the 
agents' pause room, that starts flashing once the call queue indication turns 
to red. 

You can configure the function in the 

Configurator

, menu 

Applications > 

Forum ACD

 with the settings:

Remote switching - Action by entering red

Remote switching - Action by leaving red

 

Note:

These input fields are displayed when an IP address has been 
entered for the Remote Switching IP router.

Configuring the remote switching action for an ACD queue

Perform action with a function key on the system phone

On the system phones, you can configure function keys that can perform 
actions, e. g.: 

●

Switch on / off or change the light in a room.

●

Switch on stairwell light or - when the stairwell light is on - reset the time 
span until the light is switched off. 

●

Operating door opener

You can configure the function in the 

Configurator

, menu 

Telephony > 

Devices > System phones

 with the 

Applications - Remote switching

 setting.
