USING THE UTILITY
When the
UTILITY
button is pr essed, the UTILITY sc r een a pp ea r s, allowing setting of va r ious device p a r amete r s, c r eation of lib r a r ies, and
backu p of use r data.
SETTING METHOD
1 Use the function buttons to select the item you wish to set
[DISPLAY/CD-G/PC/BROWSE/LANGUAGE/GENERAL].
2 Rotate the rotary selector dial to align the cursor with the
desired setting item.
3 Press either the select down (

) button or the rotary selector
dial to move the

icon to the right side.
4 Turn the rotary selector dial to select the desired setting
value.
5 Press the rotary selector dial to confirm the new setting
value.
To cancel befo r e confi r ming, pr ess the select u p (  ) button.

• The sc r eensave r o p e r ates when five minutes have p assed
without a t r ack being loaded in eithe r cont r olle r .
• The sc r eensave r also o p e r ates afte r 100 minutes p asses
without any button in p ut when eithe r one o r both of the
cont r olle r s is in p ause mode (including cue standby o r END
dis p lay).
• Sc r eensave r o p e r ation can be set fo r eithe r no r mal style o r
mani p ulato r style connection.
• The sc r een save r is disabled when a t r ack is set with DJ
softwa r e othe r than DJS.
• Du r ing o p e r ation of the sc r eensave r , pr essing a button,
inse r ting a disc, o r p e r fo r ming any othe r command
o p e r ation will cancel the sc r eensave r .
