Automatic Playlist Playback
This function allows pr eviously selected p laylist to be selected and
automatic p layback to commence in the o r de r by which the t r acks
a r e r eco r ded, alte r nating between cont r olle r s A and B.
1 Press the MIX button.
The MIX sc r een a pp ea r s in the cente r dis p lay.
2 Rotate the rotary selector dial to select a playlist, then press
the select down (

) button to open the playlist.
The o p ened p laylist will be selected fo r MIX.
3 Select the desired MIX mode
Use the function buttons to select the MIX mode.
If none of the mix modes is selected, one of the fou
r modes will
be automatically selected at r andom.
4 Rotate the rotary selector dial, and load the first track of the
playlist to controller A, the second track to controller B, and
set to cue standby.
The t r acks will be loaded in cont r olle r s A/B, and the unit will
ente r the cue standby mode.
5 Press the [AUTO MIX] function button to set to ON.
If no t r ack is loaded, the p laylist’s fi r st t r ack will be set on
cont r olle r A, the second t r ack on cont r olle r B, and both set to
cue standby.
6 Press the play/pause (  ) button for controller A.
The t r ack loaded on cont r olle r A will begin p layback, and AUTO
MIX will begin.
Thi
r ty seconds befo r e the end of p layback, p layback will switch
to the t r ack set in cont r olle r B, using the selected MIX mode.
7 Press the [BPM SYNC] function button to set to ON.
Set BPM SYNC to ON if you wish to synch r onize the tem p os of
successive t r acks.
ABOUT FADER START PLAY
When the accesso r y cont r ol co r d is used to connect this unit’s
CONTROL jack to the CONTROL jack of a Pionee r DJ mixe r , when
the DJ mixe r ’s channel fade r leve r is r aised, the p laye r ’s CUE
standby mode is r eleased and p layback begins immediately. The
p laye r ’s fade r sta r t can also be p e r fo r med by o p e r ating the c r oss
fade r leve r .
Also, the p laye r can be r etu r ned to the cue p oint (back cue
o p e r ation) by r etu r ning the fade r leve r to its o r iginal p osition
(exce p t du r ing auto p lay).

• If no t r acks a r e set in cont r olle r s A/B, they will be set
automatically in ste p 5.

• The instant change function can be used if desi r ed to switch
p layback even while a t r ack is still p laying.

the BROWSE sc r een to load a t r ack into the standby cont r olle r .
