6.2 X-Ray System and Components
The X-ray modality of the IVIS
®
Lumina XRMS operates as a separate capability within the Living
Image operating environment. The instrument can operate in the following modes:
Bioluminescence
Fluorescence
White light/photographic
VOLTAGE!
IVIS Lumina XRMS Series III can operate at multiple voltages (100 - 240
VAC). However, users are not permitted to change the input voltage to any of the
system components. Several internal modifications are required for voltage
change. If you need to change the operating voltage, contact PerkinElmer
Technical Support (see
IMPORTANT:
If you modify the IVIS Lumina XRMS Series III in any way, without
prior approval from PerkinElmer, all warranties that cover this product are void.
In addition, the computer included with the IVIS Lumina XRMS Series III is
specifically configured to run all system-related applications. Any modification of
existing software or hardware voids all warranties.
