A4  Operating Sequence

Step 1
Climbing enclosure is in position.
Close cover flaps.
Concrete the columns.

Step 2
Erect slab formwork with stopends.
Install leading anchor with the aid of 
the Slab Anchor Template.

Operating Sequence

The difference in the operating 
 sequence of Versions 1 - 3 and 4 is 
 primarily due to when the slab is 
struck. 

All versions can be climbed using the 
hydraulic self-climbing device or by 
crane.

Version 1 - 3

Climbing enclosure with working plat-
form.

The slab formwork is in the way for the 
climbing procedure. PERI recommends 
a slab formwork system, e.g. 
SKYDECK, which allows early striking. 
The example shows the operating 
 sequence with SKYDECK Slab Form-
work.
