5.2.2 Overview Tab
The “Overview” tab (F2) shows the current status and settings applied to all connected sensors. This
screen contains a large amount of information and an event history.
1. Description of cylinder (same as M/E)
2. Displays green if Sensor in ‘On’, red if ‘Off’
3. Status, this can show as:
a. Sleep: Engine is off and sensors not actively measuring
b. Filling with oil: Sensors filling.
c. Blasting: displays when the sensor is cleaning itself (automatically, even if engine is ‘Off’)
d. Measuring if Full: displays when the sensor is about to take a measurement. If the engine is ‘Off’
this will still be shown, but no measurement will be recorded.
e. Stopped: When the sensors have been stopped
f. Starting: When the sensors have been Started
g. Off. Sensor not connected/no power.
4. Next test Time: time until next measurement is taken.
5. Last measurement ppm. This changes colour depending on ppm level; Green, Yellow or Red
6. Number of measurements since software started: This is a useful way of seeing the frequency which
sensors fill. If one sensor is lower than others, it may indicate oil filling issues.
7. Blast length: Time for air to zero and clear sensor
8. Help: Press the ‘F1’ key on the computer keyboard
9. Measurement Interval: How often the sensors attempt a measure.
10. Heartbeat: Each sensor connected to the network will display a heartbeat a heart should flash every 5
seconds to show it is correctly working.
11. Event history: logs warnings and alerts.
12. Control buttons.
