LinerSCAN will now prompt the operator with a new window referring to the next sensor in
sequence.
As we can notice from the picture below this sensor having serial number 14434 results set on
sensor ID 1 but it was actually installed on Cylinder 2.
This is a typical case were it will be required to reset the sensor ID in order to match the Cylinder
Number (that will be 2 since it was installed on Cylinder 2).
As shown in the picture below, using the increment/decrement buttons select the appropriate ID
number from the ‘New ID’ field. For this case the Sensor ID needs to be reset from 1 to 2 in order to
match the correspondent Cylinder number (2). Once selected the New ID field press the SET
button to confirm the change.
The small window will disappear for few seconds, reappearing with the newly set Sensor ID.
Now select the matching Cylinder number (2 for the case above) from the Cylinder drop-down
menu and press OK to finalize the assignment. Repeat the set up procedure for each sensor where
Sensor ID and Cylinder Number do not match each other.
