Error: Comm. port not available
Generation 4 LinerSCAN requires a communication port. Action: Check USB adapter is plugged into
USB port. If it has been unplugged, the computer will have to be re-started.
Generation 5 LinerSCAN does not require a communications port; however this dialogue box will still
show. It is safe to ignore this error and click OK. This is because Generation 5 software will work with
Generation 4 sensors and terminal boxes.
7.2 Electrical Problems
