STANDARD COMPONENTS
Silent Air Controls with Heated Intake
This is not a user serviceable part.
Lo-Pro silent air controls are designed to deliver immediate bubble action with minimal noise. To open, turn counter-clockwise and
adjust according to personal massage preference. When the jet pump is on, the air control draws in the heat created by the motor
and helps further reduce operation costs. The air control should remain closed when the spa is not in use in order to maximize
heater efficiency.
In all Pacific Spas models (1, 2 or 3 pump system) each jet system has its own air controls, which allow changing the power of the
jets (water pressure) by regulating the amount of air that is mixed with the water.
Knife Valve
This is not a user serviceable part.
All circulation pumps are equipped with knife valves. The valves prevent water from entering your
spa equipment. They allow for servicing of the spa without draining. Leave the knife valve in the
“OPEN” position at all times, except as required for servicing.
Hose Bibb / Drain Tap
This is not a user serviceable part.
All spas are equipped with a hose bibb (drain tap) to make the process of draining your spa easy. Just attach your ordinary garden
hose to the tap and gravity will do the rest of the work.
Floor Drain / Safety Suction
This is not a user serviceable part.
Care must be taken not to cover the floor drain. Do not attempt
to lift or remove this cover. Your Pacific Spa has been equipped
with a suction fitting that draws water in the event your skim
filter becomes restricted and allows adequate water flow to your
equipment.
Top Load Skim Filter
This system comes with a floating skimmer and basket to catch hair or other debris that may enter the spa. The design of this
skimmer allows the user to easily remove the cartridge filter for cleaning, which should be done on a regular basis. To remove the
basket for access to the filter cartridge, turn the basket and lift (see Spa Maintenance). The anti-vortex skimmer is the skimmer
closest to the keypad and has more holes to allow for a smoother flow of water. The vortex skimmer skims the surface of the spa.
Underwater Safety Light
This is a user serviceable part.
All Pacific Spas come equipped with an underwater safety light.
Equipment Pack
The equipment pack includes a built-in temperature probe and a water flow detection feature that eliminates the need for a
pressure switch. In.therm controls multiple power levels on a single element, extending its lifetime by heating at high power only
when needed. With no moving parts and no adjustments, in.therm is hassle free and defines new levels of reliability.
