System-Wide Service Procedures

Pillar Data Systems Confidential

To remove a side panel from a rack:

1 If locked, unlock the side panel.

2 Unlatch the side panel by:

• Pushing the release button, or

• Lifting the release handle(s).

3 Remove the side panel and set it aside.

Attach the Rack Doors

To reattach the doors on a rack:

1 Get the rack’s front and back doors.

2 Based on the type of door hinge, reassemble the hinges

to reattach the doors.

3 Lock the front and back doors to the rack (optional).
