You are now ready to begin the training.
Front Desk Operations
NOTE: all operations which refer to ‘inserting’ the card
for encoding are performed on the HT22P (RFID)
encoder by presenting the card to the appropriate
location on the HT22P, as there is no insertion possible
with this encoder.
Log On Screen
A valid password must be entered to access the HT22
system. Each password consists of up to 8 alpha
numeric characters. Up to 100 users can be set up to use
the HT22 system. To log into the system, simply enter
your password and press the enter key. If your
password contains letters, press the A-Z Letters key and
use the left and right arrows to scroll to the desired
letter. When the correct letter is displayed, press the A-
Z letters key again if the next character of the password
is a letter, a number key if the next character of the
password is a number, or the enter key if the password
is complete. Upon successful login, the new guest
option is selected by default. At this point, you may
choose to encode a new guest key, press one of the hot
keys to perform another common function or press the
MENU key to scroll through the menu options. For the
purpose of the training, the password is ‘5’.
Menu Overview
The functions of the HT22 system are grouped into a
series of menu options. For example, all the functions
pertaining to Reception activity are grouped under a
menu named Reception. A user can navigate through
the menus by pressing the menu key, then using the left
and right arrow keys. Grouped under each menu
heading are the available functions pertaining to that
menu. The menus are: Receptions, Masters, Special
